Description

The Property Department in Ljusnarsberg Municipality is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all municipal properties and public park environments. The unit is led by a property manager, and the team consists of rental administrators, property caretakers, property technicians, operations technicians, supervisors, and park workers. We are now looking for two park workers who want to be part of our team during the summer period.

Job Responsibilities

All types of park and garden maintenance such as lawn mowing, trimming, new planting, maintenance of green areas and plantings, weeding, tree care, hedge trimming, supervision of playgrounds, cleaning, simple repairs, etc.

Qualifications

You who apply must enjoy physical work in an outdoor environment. We work both independently and in groups, and you will have daily contact with our customers. Therefore, it is important that you find it easy to collaborate and communicate with others. You should be good at taking responsibility and initiative but also be able to work within given frameworks. We appreciate attention to detail and a love for physical work. Relevant education in gardening and/or previous experience in park and outdoor environments is an advantage.

To thrive in the role, you need to be service-oriented and solution-focused. You need to have a good and pleasant demeanor and enjoy meeting people. Since the organization is small, it requires a flexible approach to your tasks and a willingness to take on new responsibilities.
